It was freezing! But I bundled up on Sunday, grabbed my camera and headed to Alameda to explore the Alameda Antiques Faire. I was so inspired by what I saw and wished I could have spent all day there.
Obviously I couldn’t leave empty handed – below are some pictures of my favorite objects and furniture at the faire.
Could you see adding any of these stylish finds to your decor?
A great way to start a collection is to visit a flea market or faire – you can find some unique objects to style bookcases, coffee tables or display shelves.
These came home with me and I can’t wait to use them in my client’s home!
The seller made this antique side table look fresh and modern by painting it a warm gray. It was only $55!!
Several vendors had objects that were very Paris chic. I loved the scale of this shade on the contemporary white lamp base.
Sonya Perez of Belle Maison is SO talented. She does the custom finish on her furniture and has them upholstered in a wonderful gray linen. I fell in love with everything she created.
How incredible are these over-sized nail heads?
More Paris chic. My eye always gravitates to anything French inspired.
There were so many interesting books with great covers that add a look of sophistication to any styled bookshelf.
This cable car painting caught my eye because I love SF scenery and the colors were so unique…. plus it was a steal at $40!
I could just see these interspersed on bookshelves or using one of them in it’s own vignette.
In a break from the French theme, these utilitarian pedestal tables would be amazing next to a reading chair, in front of a couch or as a bedside table in a kid’s room.
Vibrant and fun – these chairs were screaming for attention. 🙂
