Before and After shots of a cottage remodel in @carmelbythesea. I love rethinking floor plans to take advantage of wasted space. In this case we opened up the kitchen and added a beautiful bar with more storage for the broom, vacuum etc.
I always start with a floor plan so that I can look at the space from the top down. I take out the existing cabinetry and start from scratch- being thoughtful about how the client wants to use the space. For this kitchen, they wanted more light and storage, in addition to more seating and a convenient place to mix drinks for friends. We accomplished it all with some creative planning and then layered on the beautiful finishes. 👍 ☺️ #tutorialtuesday #kitchenremodel #kitchenbar #luxdesign #cottagedesign #coastaldecor
